Since were 2 of 7 hours for tourism, drew the only ship for 5 hours. Since the distance / time = rate then:

Multiply eliminate any period of 36 fractions.
36x ... 36x

12 ... 18
3x + 2x = 180
5x = 180
x = 36, when the vessel 36 miles in each direction on the trip.
